Leather Hard is a project Julia started with the help of artist Bob Faust. The term leather hard refers to the phase when clay is malleable, and therefore the time to edit. This is when you have created the basic final form of what you are going for, but you can add, delete. It’s not done yet, it’s still evolving - maybe slightly, maybe in big ways. This seems to apply perfectly to people as much as clay. Hats are from Weld in Los Angeles and embroidered in Evanston, Illinois.
